About Abihealth
Here at Abihealth North Tyneside, we provide home care support to people living in Newcastle Upon Tyne and across North Tyneside. We work with older people, younger adults, and individuals with learning disabilities or autism, offering care that fits around each person's life rather than asking them to fit around ours. We know that inviting someone into your home to help with care is a significant step, and we do not take that trust lightly. Whether someone needs support for a few hours a week or more regular assistance throughout the day, we aim to make that experience feel as comfortable and natural as possible. The people we support remain in control of how their care looks and how it changes over time. Our team works across a range of needs, which means we have built up a genuine understanding of what matters to different people at different stages of life. For older people, that might mean maintaining independence at home for as long as possible. For younger adults or those with a learning disability or autism, it might mean support that helps them take part in their community, build confidence, or simply get through the day in a way that works for them. We are based locally, which matters to us. We understand the area, we are reachable, and we are not a distant organisation making decisions from afar. When something needs addressing, people can speak to someone who knows them and their situation. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission, and while we are in the early stages of our regulatory journey, we are committed to being open and transparent about how we operate. If you would like to find out more about what we can offer, we would be very glad to have a conversation.
