Here at North Tyneside Council Reablement Support, we provide home care to people living in Newcastle Upon Tyne and across North Tyneside. Our work centres on helping individuals regain confidence and independence in their own homes, whether they are older adults recovering from a period of illness or hospital stay, or younger adults who need a bit of extra support to manage day to day life. Reablement is at the heart of everything we do. Rather than simply stepping in to do things for people, we work alongside the individuals we support, encouraging and enabling them to rebuild their own abilities at their own pace. We believe strongly that people are more likely to thrive when they feel in control of their own lives, and we keep that belief at the centre of every visit we make. Our team works closely with other health and social care professionals across the area, making sure that the support each person receives joins up properly and reflects what matters most to them. We take time to listen, to understand individual circumstances, and to build a genuine picture of what a good outcome looks like for each person we work with. We are proud that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good. That rating reflects the commitment of our staff and the trust that the people we support place in us, and we continue to learn and improve so that we can maintain and build on those standards.
