Here at The Croft, we are a residential care home based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, and we are proud to support the people who live with us to lead fulfilling, comfortable and meaningful lives. We specialise in residential care, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, and we also offer respite care for those who need a short break or temporary support. We understand that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or someone you love, is a significant decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our aim is always to get to know each person as an individual, understanding what matters to them, what they enjoy, and how they like their day to day life to look. For people with learning disabilities and autism, we know that consistency, familiarity and thoughtful communication make a real difference. We work hard to create an environment where everyone feels safe, respected and genuinely at home. Support is tailored around each person rather than shaped around a routine that suits us, and we regularly review how we are doing to make sure we are meeting people's needs as those needs change over time. Our respite offer is something we feel strongly about too. Whether someone is coming to us for a planned short stay or at short notice, we want the experience to feel positive and settled from the very beginning. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, and while that recognition means a great deal to us, our focus remains firmly on the people in our care and on continuing to improve.
