About Eagle House Residential Care Home
Eagle House is a residential care home in Lincoln. We are home to older people and to younger adults who need support with daily life, including people living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. What sits behind that is not remarkable so much as steady: staff who stay long enough to know the people they look after, time allowed to do things properly, and a willingness to say plainly when something is not right so it can be put right. The care we give is residential rather than nursing. Staff are on duty day and night to help with personal care, dressing, medication and meals, while doctors and district nurses come in for clinical needs. For most people that is the right level of support and it leaves far more of their independence intact than a clinical setting would. Dementia care here rests on consistency and on knowing the person. The same faces, a day in a familiar order and surroundings that make sense will settle somebody more reliably than anything else. We learn about a person's working life, family and habits, because that is what explains them to us later. Respite and short stays are available. Please ring if you would like to look round Eagle House and meet the people who live here.
