About The Cottage Specialist Residential Service
Here at The Cottage Specialist Residential Service in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, we provide a warm and homely environment where the people in our care feel genuinely valued, safe and supported to live their lives as fully as possible. We specialise in supporting younger adults with learning disabilities and autism, and we understand that each person who comes through our door has their own personality, preferences and ways of experiencing the world. Our approach is built around getting to know each individual properly, so that the support we offer reflects who they are rather than fitting them into a one size fits all model. Alongside our residential care, we also offer respite care, which we know can make a real difference to both the individuals we support and their families. Whether someone is staying with us for a short break or making The Cottage their long term home, we aim to make the experience feel comfortable and familiar from the very beginning. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in day to day. It tells us we are on the right track, though we are always looking at how we can do better and listening to the people we support and their families when it comes to making improvements. Lincoln is a wonderful city and being part of this community matters to us. We encourage the people we support to get involved in local life, whether that means visiting familiar places, trying new activities or simply spending time in a way that feels meaningful to them. If you would like to find out more about what we offer or want to come and see us in person, we would be very happy to hear from you.
