About Holmleigh Care Home
Holmleigh Care Home is a residential care home in Lincoln, providing a settled home and short stays for older people who need support with everyday living. People come to us for different reasons. Sometimes keeping on top of a house had become too much. Sometimes an illness or a fall changed what was realistic. Whatever brought somebody here, our aim is that they come to think of this as their home rather than somewhere they are staying. Residents bring their own things, keep their own routines and decide how their days go, while staff look after what has become difficult, including personal care, medication, meals and laundry. A number of the people living with us have dementia. What helps there is consistency, unhurried time and knowing enough about someone's life to be real company. We also support people living with a physical disability, paying attention to the practical details that make a day workable, from equipment to giving somebody long enough to do things at their own pace. Respite stays are available, whether a family carer needs a planned break or somebody needs support for a few weeks after being unwell. If you would like to see Holmleigh, please ring us and arrange a visit. Come and look round properly, meet the staff and the people who live here, and ask whatever you want to ask before deciding anything.
