About Adrian O'Brien Rachel Amiee O'Brien - 122 Scorer Street
Our supported living home in Lincoln provides residential care for adults, including adults with learning disabilities and autism, and we also offer planned respite stays. We are a small home and the people who live here are adults with their own lives rather than a group to be managed together. Everybody has their own room, their own routine and a say in how the house runs. Our staff help with personal care, medicines, meals, money and the ordinary work of keeping a household going, and we support people to keep up with family and friends and to get to the activities, work or education that matter to them. We should be straightforward about our inspection position. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We accepted the findings rather than disputing them, and we have concentrated on exactly what was criticised: our records, our medicines practice, how we check the quality of the support we provide, and how well prepared our staff are before they begin working with somebody. That work is not finished and we will not claim otherwise. If you are considering a place here for somebody, please visit, ask specifically what has changed since the inspection, and spend time with the people who already live here.
