About Dunollie Residential and Nursing Home
Dunollie Residential and Nursing Home is in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We provide both residential and nursing care for older people and for younger adults, with qualified nurses on hand for those whose health needs call for it. The people who live here have varied needs. Many are living with dementia, some are managing mental health conditions, and many have physical disabilities or sight and hearing loss. Because the range is wide, we plan around individuals rather than categories. How somebody communicates, what settles them, what they like to eat and when they prefer to sleep matter as much as anything clinical. Being able to offer both residential and nursing care means that when somebody's health changes, they often do not have to move again. That continuity is worth a great deal to residents and to their families. We work closely with GPs, community teams, therapists and hospital staff so that treatment is prompt, and we keep relatives properly informed. Respite stays are available for planned breaks and for people needing support for a short period. The Care Quality Commission rated us good at our most recent inspection. Please come and see us. Look round, speak to residents and relatives and ask us whatever you need to ask.
