Here at Farm House, we are a residential care home based in Ashford, Kent, and we are proud to support the people who live with us every day. We specialise in residential care, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, as well as offering respite care for those who need a short break or additional support for a period of time. We understand that choosing the right care home is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we take that responsibility seriously. Every person who comes through our doors is treated as an individual, with their own preferences, routines and goals, and we work hard to make sure that life here feels like home rather than simply a place to receive care. Our team gets to know each resident properly, taking time to understand not just their care needs but the things that matter to them personally, whether that is how they like to spend their mornings, the food they enjoy or the activities that bring them joy. For those staying with us on a respite basis, we aim to make the transition as comfortable and reassuring as possible, so that both the individual and their loved ones feel settled and confident. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of good, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in day to day. We do not take that rating for granted and we are always looking at how we can continue to improve.
