About Burlington Court
Burlington Court is a nursing home in Northampton, caring for older people whose health needs have gone beyond what can be managed comfortably at home. Having qualified nurses on hand at all hours means changes in somebody's condition are noticed early and dealt with calmly, which often spares a person an avoidable hospital admission. A large part of our work is with people living with dementia. We keep the day unhurried and predictable, we make sure people see faces they recognise and we pay attention to the small things that settle a person. We also care for younger adults, and we plan their day around their own interests rather than expecting them to fit into an older person's routine. Respite care is available too, for people recovering after illness and for family carers who need a break. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are pleased about that and clear that a rating reflects a point in time. What keeps a home good is the ordinary daily effort, knowing how each person likes their morning, noticing when somebody has gone quiet and telling families things before they have to ask. Please come and see us.
