About Brampton View Care Home
We are a nursing home in Northampton, looking after people whose health needs call for qualified nursing as well as help with daily life. We care for older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia and people with physical disabilities. Nursing care is detailed work. Medication that has to be right, pain that has to be watched, skin and wounds that need proper attention, difficulties with eating, drinking and moving that are easy to underestimate, and the early signs of illness that matter most when they are caught quickly. Keeping registered nurses on duty is how we make sure none of that waits. The part that is easier to lose is the person. Someone can have every clinical need met and still have a thin sort of day, so we try to make sure people decide when they get up, what they wear, what they eat and who sits with them. For those living with dementia we spend time learning the life behind the person, because familiarity and patience settle somebody far better than any procedure does. We work closely with general practitioners, community teams, therapists and hospital staff, and keep families properly informed rather than ringing only when something has gone wrong. Where someone is nearing the end of life, our concern is comfort, dignity and the company of those they love. Respite stays are available too. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Do come and see us and ask whatever you need to.
