About Eversleigh Nursing Home
Eversleigh is a nursing home in Leamington Spa. We support older people and younger adults whose needs require nursing care as well as personal care, and we offer respite stays. Being a nursing home means registered nurses are part of the team here, and it means we can look after people whose health needs are genuinely complex without them having to move again. That continuity matters. Being moved from place to place as needs change is hard on anybody and harder still when you are unwell. Clinical care is only part of the job, though, and the smaller part of most days. The rest is the ordinary business of living somewhere: food worth eating, being helped without a long wait, privacy when you want it, company when you do not, and being spoken to as an adult with a history rather than as a set of needs. We try to keep those things from being crowded out by the clinical side. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather state that here than have a family find it and wonder what else went unsaid. We accept the findings and are working through them. Anyone considering us should visit unannounced, speak to residents and relatives, and press us on what has actually changed.
