We work with older people who want to stay independent, adults managing a mental health condition, and younger adults who need practical support to live the life they want. We write the plan in plain language and we change it when circumstances change. We keep the team around each person small. Familiarity matters, particularly for anyone managing a mental health condition, and it also means our carers notice when something is different and can raise it early. Staff are trained for the needs they will meet and there is always someone contactable if a family has a concern. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that openly.
