About Lexrae Support

Lexrae Support works with people across Telford in their own homes. Our starting point is what somebody wants their life to look like, and then the practical question of what support would make that possible. We support older people who need help with daily tasks, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss. We also support younger adults, who often want support that helps them get on with work, study or a social life rather than support that simply keeps them safe at home. A good deal of our work is about independence rather than dependence. Where somebody can take on more for themselves, we would rather spend the time helping them get there than doing it for them because it is quicker. We also keep the same workers with the same people wherever we can, because being properly known is worth a great deal. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather say so openly. Until we do, judge us on whether support happens when agreed, whether we communicate clearly and whether people feel listened to.
