About Registered Office
We are a home care provider based in Ipswich, supporting people across Suffolk in their own homes. Our work is with older people, with people living with dementia, with people who have a physical disability and with younger adults, and the common thread is that all of them would rather stay where they are than move somewhere else. Our job is to make that a realistic choice rather than a hopeful one. What that looks like in practice varies. For one person it is half an hour in the morning to get washed and dressed and started properly. For another it is four visits a day, medication prompts, meals and a check that they are safe overnight. For someone living with dementia it is often the same familiar carer keeping the shape of a day intact. We plan visits with the person and their family, and we spend proper time at the outset, because the things that make home care work are small and specific and never appear on a referral form. Our care workers are trained for the needs they will meet and we keep the same small team visiting the same person wherever we can, since reliability is what earns trust. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we would encourage anyone considering us to ask us direct questions and speak to the people we already support.
