About Fountain of Health
Fountain of Health provides care and support in people's own homes across Ipswich and the surrounding part of Suffolk. We work with older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with learning disabilities and autistic people, and people living with physical disabilities. What we do is make home a workable place to stay when daily life has become hard to manage alone. The help covers washing and dressing, medication, preparing meals and seeing they are eaten, shopping, laundry, getting out to appointments, and keeping a household going. Company is part of it too, and for somebody living alone that is often the part that matters most. Where we support younger adults and people with learning disabilities the emphasis moves from care towards enabling. The point is getting to work or college, running a home and seeing the people they choose, with us doing only the parts that genuinely need doing. We keep the same small teams with the same households as far as the rota allows, because a familiar carer is a welcome visitor rather than an intrusion. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us if you would like to discuss support at home.
