About Claire Bees Healthcare

We provide support at home in Ipswich and the surrounding area, working with adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people whose difficulties involve alcohol or drugs. Our work is about helping people hold on to a home and a life of their own. Much of it is unglamorous and that is where it counts: managing a tenancy, dealing with letters and bills, handling money, shopping and cooking, keeping appointments, getting to work, college or something a person wants to do with their week, and having somebody alongside when a situation feels beyond facing alone. We start by asking what a person wants their life to look like rather than arriving with a plan already written. For somebody dealing with substance use or poor mental health, what helps most is usually staff who are steady, do not moralise and keep turning up when they said they would. Trust is slow to build and quickly undone, so we try to keep the same workers with the same people. Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and have senior colleagues they can reach. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are glad to discuss that openly. If you are looking for support of this kind, please get in touch.
