About New Hope Care
New Hope Care provides support at home in Oldbury and across the Sandwell area. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment, younger adults, people with eating disorders and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse. Support at home has to be built around the person rather than around our convenience, so we begin with a proper conversation about what would genuinely help, what somebody would rather keep doing themselves and how they want things done in their own house. From there we build a small, settled team so that the person arriving is someone already familiar. The work covers personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and getting out of the house. For people living with dementia, consistency of face and timing does more good than anything else, and we protect it. For younger adults, autistic people and adults with learning disabilities, the emphasis shifts to enabling rather than doing, and we plan around work, college and family life. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather tell you that ourselves than have you find it elsewhere. We know which areas were identified and we are working through them, and we will speak plainly about our progress if you ask. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss support at home in Sandwell.
