We are Buxton Healthcare, based in Norwich, and we provide care in people's own homes across Norfolk. We support older people, including many living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. Norfolk is a large county with a lot of small villages in it, and for some of the people we visit our carer is the main person they will see that day. We mention that because it shapes how we work. For people living with dementia, familiarity does more good than anything else we could provide, so we work hard to send the same carers to the same households. A carer who knows somebody well is also the first to notice when something has shifted. We have not yet had an overall rating published by the Care Quality Commission.
