About Supported Living

We are Kings Lynn Supported Living, a home care agency supporting adults in their own homes in Kings Lynn and across west Norfolk. We work with older people and with younger adults, including people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Much of our work is about helping people run their own households rather than having their lives run for them. That might mean support with personal care and medication, or it might mean help with cooking, budgeting, appointments, travel and the paperwork that piles up when somebody is unwell. For younger adults building independence, the emphasis is usually on learning to do things rather than having them done. Every arrangement begins with a proper conversation about what the person wants their week to look like and what is getting in the way of it. What we agree is written in plain language and reviewed honestly when circumstances change. Norfolk is a rural county and travel time is real, so we are candid at the outset about the areas we can serve well and the times we can genuinely commit to. We are glad to explain how we recruit, how our staff are trained and what happens when a concern is raised. If you are arranging support at home in west Norfolk, please get in touch and we will give you a straight answer.
