For those living with dementia we hold routines and faces steady, because familiarity does more good than any technique. We keep rounds local so carers are not racing between calls and people see a small familiar team, and we give notice when a regular carer is away. Staff train before working alone and are supervised in people's homes once they do. We are a newer team and have not yet had a full inspection of our own.
