Bluebell Homecare provides support at home for people in Wickford and the surrounding part of Essex. If somebody has got their confidence back and needs less from us, we would rather say so than keep visits running out of habit. Visits can cover personal care, help with medication, cooking a meal, shopping and housework, getting out to appointments, or company for somebody who sees very few people in a week. We keep care teams small so the same faces turn up, because being greeted by somebody you know changes the character of the whole visit. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat it as the standard we are expected to hold rather than something to advertise, and we keep asking the people we visit and their families whether we are doing what we promised.
