We plan rounds so that people see familiar carers rather than a procession of strangers, and we introduce anyone new properly. Carers complete training before working unsupervised and are supported by senior staff who carry out supervision, spot checks and reviews. When someone's needs change we say so and we adjust, and if we believe a different kind of support would serve someone better we will tell you that honestly even though it may not suit us.
