About Tring Care
Tring Care supports people in their own homes in Brentwood and across Essex. We visit older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, those with sight or hearing loss and younger adults. Our work begins with asking rather than assessing. What does somebody want their week to contain, what has become hard work, what can they still do perfectly well without us, and what would they rather we left alone. The answers become a plan written in plain language, agreed with the person and with family where they want that, and revisited when circumstances change. Calls run from a short morning visit through to several longer ones a day. We help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and housework, getting out to appointments or to see people, and we make sure there is time for a real conversation rather than a signature and out of the door. We keep rounds local across Brentwood so carers are not racing between calls and people see a small familiar team, and we give notice when a regular carer is away. Staff train before working alone and are supervised in people's homes once they do. We are a newer team and have not yet had a full inspection of our own, which we would rather state plainly. Please ask us whatever you need to before you decide anything.
