A carer who knows somebody notices when they are unwell, in pain or unusually quiet, and the person is spared explaining themselves again and again. For people living with dementia, a familiar and unhurried visit does more good than anything written down. Our carers are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and can reach a senior colleague whenever they want advice.
