Where there is sensory loss we think about lighting, contrast and hearing aids that have actually been checked. For people living with dementia, familiarity and timing do more good than anything else, so we keep teams small and say in advance when a new carer is coming. Our carers are checked and trained before they visit anybody, and we are registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
