About Potens Dipton Supported Living and Outreach
We provide supported living and outreach around Dipton and County Durham for adults with learning disabilities and people living with mental health conditions. Outreach can be lighter than that, a few hours a week with somebody who mainly manages but needs a hand at particular points. It works best when we are honest about what is actually needed rather than filling hours for the sake of it. For people whose mental health is unsettled, a worker who is steady, turns up when they said they would and knows the person well enough to notice when things are slipping often does more good than extra hours would.
