About CCT Community Enablement Team, Enablement Care
CCT Community Enablement Team provides residential care in Sutton in Ashfield for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with mental health needs and people with physical disabilities. We also take planned respite stays. Our work is practical and daily. Helping people with personal care and medicines, cooking meals people actually want to eat, running a household, and supporting people to get out to the activities, work or education that matter to them. Residents decide how their own days go, and where somebody needs the day to be predictable we work to that rather than to a general routine. We would rather be straightforward about our inspection position than have families discover it elsewhere. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We are not going to argue with the findings. They described real gaps, and our manager and staff team have been working through them, with tighter medicines practice, clearer records, more training and supervision, and regular internal checks so that problems surface quickly. We know improvement has to be demonstrated rather than asserted, and we are not there yet. If you are considering us for somebody, come and look round properly, ask exactly what has changed since the inspection, and speak to residents and relatives while you are in the building.
