About Langwith Lodge Care Home
Here at Langwith Lodge Care Home, we are proud to be part of the Mansfield community in Nottinghamshire, providing a safe, comfortable and genuinely homely environment for the people who live with us. We support a range of individuals, including older people, those living with dementia, younger adults, and people who require a shorter stay through respite care. Each person who comes through our doors brings their own story, preferences and routines, and we work hard to make sure that care is shaped around the individual rather than the other way around. Our team knows that moving into a care home, whether on a permanent or temporary basis, can feel like a significant step for residents and their families alike. We try to make that transition as straightforward and reassuring as possible, taking time to listen and get to know people properly before making any assumptions about what they need or want. Day to day life here is built around choice. People are encouraged to spend their time as they wish, whether that means joining in with activities, enjoying quiet time, having family visit, or simply sitting with a cup of tea and a chat with a member of our team. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of Good, which reflects the commitment of everyone who works here. That said, we never see a good rating as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at ways to improve and to make Langwith Lodge a place where residents feel genuinely at home. If you would like to find out more about what we offer or come and see us in person, we would be very happy to welcome you and have a conversation about how we might be able to help.
