About Hatzfeld House
Hatzfeld House is a residential care home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and we support a wider range of adults than most homes of our size. That is deliberate. People do not arrive with a single label, and we would rather build support around an individual than turn somebody away because their needs sit across two categories. We provide residential care for older people, including those living with dementia, and we support adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, and people living with mental ill health. We also support people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss, and we work with people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug use, without judgement and alongside the professionals involved. Some of those we support are younger adults. Respite stays are available too. Supporting that mix well means being clear about what each person needs from us, so every plan is written with the individual, reviewed regularly, and shared with the professionals involved in their care. Where risk is part of the picture we talk about it openly and look for ways to support somebody safely rather than simply saying no. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. Anyone thinking about a placement is welcome to visit and ask us difficult questions.
