About Fairland House
Fairland House is a residential care home in Attleborough caring for older people who need support with everyday life. What we offer is help with the ordinary business of the day, given without fuss: assistance to wash and dress, medication managed properly and on time, meals cooked on the premises, support to get about safely and staff available through the night. It reads simply enough, and much of it is simple, but doing it reliably and in a way that never makes somebody feel like a task on a list takes real attention. We try to keep the house feeling domestic rather than institutional. Residents decide when they get up, where they spend the day and who they want to see. Some are in the lounge from breakfast onwards and like to know what everybody is doing, others prefer their own room, the radio and a visitor now and then, and neither needs justifying to us. Respite stays are available as well as permanent places, whether to give a family carer a planned break or to help somebody regain confidence after illness. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Families across Norfolk are welcome to visit. Please ring and we will arrange a time.
