About 8 Acres
Here at 8 Acres in Attleborough, Norfolk, we provide a warm and welcoming home for the people who live with us. We care for older adults, younger adults, and people living with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. We also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether for a planned break or to support a change in circumstances. We are proud to hold a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in day to day to make sure every person feels safe, respected and well looked after. That rating matters to us, not because of what it looks like on paper, but because it tells us we are getting the important things right for the people who call this place home. Our approach is straightforward. We take the time to get to know each person properly, understanding what matters to them, how they like their day to run, and what makes them feel comfortable and settled. No two people are the same, and we do not treat them as though they are. Care plans are built around the individual, and we revisit them regularly to make sure they still reflect what that person needs and wants. We know that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or someone you love, is one of the most significant decisions a family can face. We welcome anyone who would like to come and have a look around, ask questions and take their time before making any decisions. There is no pressure here, only an honest conversation about whether 8 Acres could be the right fit. If you would like to find out more, please do get in touch. We are always happy to talk.
