About 179 Green Lane
Here at 179 Green Lane, we are a residential care home based in Morden, Merton, and we are proud to support the people who live with us as individuals first and foremost. We specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, with a particular focus on younger adults who are at the start of their journey with us or who may be moving on from family care or other settings. We also offer respite care, which gives families and carers a much needed break while knowing their loved one is in a safe, familiar and welcoming environment. Our approach is straightforward. We take the time to get to know each person properly, understanding what matters to them, what their routines look like and how we can help them live as independently and comfortably as possible. We do not believe in a one size fits all model. The people we support have told us, in their own ways, what good care looks like to them, and we listen. We were most recently rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort our whole staff team puts in day to day. It means a great deal to us, though we are always looking at where we can do better. Our home is situated in Morden, which means residents have access to local amenities, green spaces and community connections that help keep life full and meaningful beyond our front door. If you are looking for residential care or a short respite stay for yourself or someone close to you, we would genuinely welcome the chance to have a conversation. You are always welcome to come and visit us, meet the team and get a proper feel for who we are and how we work. We think that is the best way to know whether we are the right fit.
