About The Haven
Here at The Haven, we are proud to be a care home at the heart of the Boston community in Lincolnshire, offering a warm and familiar place where older people can feel genuinely at home. We provide residential care, dementia care and respite care, which means we support a wide range of people and families at different stages of their journey. Whether someone is moving in with us permanently or joining us for a shorter stay to recover or give family members a rest, we work hard to make sure every person feels comfortable, respected and well looked after from the very first day. Dementia care is something we take particularly seriously. We understand how much it matters to families that their loved one is in a setting where staff truly understand the condition, not just in terms of physical needs but in terms of how someone experiences the world around them. We focus on routine, familiarity and meaningful connection to help each resident feel as settled and secure as possible. Our recent Care Quality Commission rating of good reflects the effort our whole team puts in every day. We were pleased with that outcome, though we are always looking at how we can do better and listening to residents and families to make sure we are getting things right. Life at The Haven is built around the individual. We get to know people properly, their preferences, their histories and what makes a good day for them. Mealtimes, activities and daily routines are shaped around the people who live here rather than the other way around. If you are considering care for yourself or someone you love, we would always encourage you to come and visit us. A conversation over a cup of tea is often the best place to start.
