About Pickworth House
At Pickworth House, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Boston, Lincolnshire. We support people living with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and younger adults who need a bit of extra help to live well day to day. We also offer respite care for those who need a short break from their usual living arrangements, or whose families and carers need some time to recharge. We are proud to have received a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our whole team puts into making sure everyone who lives here feels safe, respected and at home. That rating matters to us not as a badge, but because it tells us we are getting the important things right for the people in our care. We know that moving into a care home, or even coming for a short respite stay, is a significant moment for anyone and for their loved ones. We try to make that transition as straightforward and as comfortable as possible. We take time to get to know each person properly, understanding what matters to them, what they enjoy and how they like their day to look. Care here is built around the individual, not the other way around. Our team works hard to create an environment that feels genuinely warm and welcoming rather than clinical or institutional. We encourage people to stay connected with their communities and to carry on doing the things they love wherever we can support that. If you are considering Pickworth House for yourself or for someone you care about, we would always encourage you to come and visit us, have a look around and ask us anything you like. We are an open and honest team and we would love to show you what life here looks like.
