About Lester Court

Lester Court is a residential care home in Loughborough, Leicestershire, supporting adults who need somewhere settled to live and the right help to get on with their own lives. We work with people managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability and younger adults. Stability is what we try hardest to provide. A predictable house, staff who know you, a routine you helped shape and somewhere quiet to go when the day has been too much. Alongside that we support personal care where it is needed, medication, health and benefits appointments, cooking and budgeting, and getting back into activities, education or work when someone is ready. We take the view that progress is rarely a straight line and that a difficult stretch is not a failure. Our team is there on the hard days as much as the good ones, and we try not to make people feel they are being managed rather than supported. Respite stays are available as well, giving a planned break to people who usually live at home with family. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We work closely with community health teams, social workers and relatives, and we would always rather raise a concern early.
