About Mary's Home
Mary's Home is a residential care home in South Croydon. We care for older people who need support with daily living, including those living with dementia and those living with mental health conditions, and we also support some younger adults. Our care is the practical, daily kind: help to wash and dress, medication given properly, meals cooked here, support to move about safely and staff available through the night. We try to keep the house feeling domestic. People get up when they are ready, spend the day as they choose and have visitors when they want them. For residents living with dementia we keep the rhythm of the day predictable and the staff around them consistent, and we ask families to tell us about working lives, music and habits. For people living with mental health conditions, consistency and staff who stay steady when things are difficult count for a great deal. Respite stays are available alongside permanent places. Families across Croydon are welcome to visit. Please ring and we will arrange a time.
