About The Cedars Residential Care Home
Here at The Cedars, we are a residential care home based in Crewe, Cheshire East, and we are proud to be a place that genuinely feels like home for the people who live with us. We specialise in older person care, residential care, physical disability support and respite care, which means we are well placed to support a range of individuals and circumstances. Whether someone is moving in with us permanently or joining us for a shorter respite stay, we aim to make sure they feel settled, valued and as independent as possible from the very first day. Our team takes the time to get to know each person as an individual. We want to understand what matters to people, how they like their days to run, what they enjoy and what makes them feel comfortable. That knowledge shapes the care and support we provide, rather than us fitting people around a fixed routine. We were pleased to receive a rating of "good" from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection. That outcome reflects the effort our whole team puts in day to day, and it gives families reassurance that their loved ones are in a safe and caring environment. We do not take that responsibility lightly. Families are always welcome at The Cedars. We believe that maintaining strong connections with loved ones is important to wellbeing, and we work hard to keep those relationships at the heart of life here. If you are considering care for yourself or someone close to you, we would encourage you to come and visit us. We are always happy to show people around, answer questions and talk through how we might be able to help. We think the best way to understand what The Cedars is really like is simply to come and see for yourself.
