About Conquest House
Conquest House is a residential care home in Peterborough. We support older people and younger adults, including people with a learning disability or who are autistic and people managing mental health conditions, and we offer respite stays for those who need care for a shorter period. What we are trying to run is a home rather than an institution. People have their own room and their own things, they make their own choices about the day, and support is there for the parts of life that need it rather than draped over everything. Supporting a mixed group of adults well means resisting the temptation to treat everyone the same.
