Safe
People told inspectors they felt safe. Staff understood how to keep people safe and were confident that action would be taken if they raised concerns. Risks that people faced were minimised and regularly reviewed.
Effective
Staff were well trained and competent to help people achieve their desired outcomes and live as independently as possible. Staff supported people to access healthcare services in a timely way.
Caring
Staff were consistently kind and attentive. They had got to know people well. People were listened to and made decisions about their care, and staff sought their consent before providing care.
Responsive
People were encouraged to take part in activities that reflected their interests and abilities. Time alone or with visitors was respected and supported. Relatives said they felt welcomed and involved.
Well-led
Management were well respected and promoted an open, friendly and supportive culture. Quality and safety checks and audits helped identify areas for improvement, and learning was shared with staff.
