About Sackville Gardens
Sackville Gardens is a residential care home in Hove, supporting adults who need help with daily living, with a particular focus on people managing mental health conditions. Recovery and stability look different for everybody, and we try not to arrive with assumptions about what either should mean. Some people come to us after a long period in hospital and need somewhere settled to rebuild an ordinary life. Others have found living alone has stopped working and want support without losing control of their own decisions. We start by asking what the person wants their life to look like, and we build the support around that answer. Day to day, that means help with the practical things where it is wanted, from medication and appointments to cooking, budgeting and keeping in touch with people who matter. It also means staff who will sit and talk, who notice when someone is struggling before it becomes a crisis, and who take a person's own account of how they are seriously. We also offer respite stays, giving people or their families a planned break with support in place. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are genuinely proud of that, and the part that pleases us most is that it reflects how people living here describe their own experience. If you would like to see Sackville Gardens, please get in touch and arrange to visit.
