About Cloverdale House
Cloverdale House is a residential care home in Hove supporting a mixed group of adults. Some of our residents are older people who need help with the practical parts of the day. Others are adults with a learning disability, autistic adults or people with a physical disability, and many are younger adults who want support to run their own lives. Planning for individuals is what makes that work. One person may want help to wash and dress and then to be left in peace. Another may want staff alongside them cooking, going out locally, getting to an appointment or working through a problem. We pay attention to how each person communicates, what they find difficult and what helps them settle, and we build the plan with them and with the people who know them well. Where somebody needs help to move about safely the right equipment is in place and our staff are trained for it. Everyday life includes cooking, shopping, keeping your own room as you want it, choosing how to spend the day and getting out into the town and down to the sea. Respite stays are available and give family carers a genuine break. Visitors are welcome. Please contact us if you would like to look round.
