About The Lustrells
At The Lustrells, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Brighton, and we take real pride in the community we have built here. Our home supports people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and younger adults who need either long term care or short term respite stays. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we work hard to make sure everyone who walks through our doors feels genuinely at home. We support each person as an individual. That means taking time to understand what matters to them, how they like to spend their days, what makes them laugh, and what kind of support helps them feel confident and comfortable. Our team gets to know residents properly rather than simply managing a routine, and that makes a real difference to daily life here. Respite care is something we feel strongly about offering well. Whether someone needs a planned break or support at short notice, we aim to make the transition as smooth and reassuring as possible, both for the person staying with us and for their family. We were pleased to receive a rating of good from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection. It reflects the effort our team puts in every day and gives families reassurance that the care provided here meets a strong standard. We never see that as a reason to stand still though, and we are always looking at how we can do things better. If you are considering The Lustrells for yourself or someone you love, we would warmly encourage you to come and visit us. Brighton is a vibrant place to live, and we do our best to make sure residents can enjoy everything the local area has to offer.
