About Talbot View
Here at Talbot View, we are a care home based in Bournemouth, proudly serving the wider Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole community. We support a broad range of individuals, and our team works hard every day to make sure each person who lives with us feels genuinely at home. We offer residential care for older people, as well as specialist support for those living with dementia. We understand how much of an adjustment moving into a care home can be, both for the person themselves and for their loved ones, and we do everything we can to make that transition as smooth and reassuring as possible. Families are always welcome here, and we encourage them to remain closely involved in the lives of those in our care. Alongside our dementia and older person care, we also support younger adults, people living with a physical disability, and those with a visual or hearing impairment. We take the time to understand what matters most to each individual, so that the support we provide fits around their life rather than the other way around. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether that is to give a family carer some time to rest or to allow someone to recover following a period of illness. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as good. That means a great deal to us, not as a badge to display, but as a reflection of the consistent care and attention our team puts in day after day. If you are considering Talbot View for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and see us in person. We are always happy to have a conversation and answer any questions you might have.
