About Cambian Asperger Syndrome Services Limited - 18 Kings Park Road
Here at Cambian Asperger Syndrome in Bournemouth, we provide residential care for people with autism and learning disabilities, including respite care for those who need shorter term support. We are part of the wider Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, and we feel genuinely rooted in this community. We understand that moving into or visiting a care home is a significant step, and we take that seriously. Our approach is built around getting to know each person as an individual, understanding what matters to them, how they communicate, what their routines look like, and what helps them feel settled and secure. For autistic people, consistency and familiarity are often really important, and we work hard to make sure our environment and our ways of working reflect that. Residential care with us means a real home, not just somewhere to stay. We support people to live as independently as possible while making sure the right level of help is always there when it is needed. For those using our respite care, we aim to make each stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible, so that both the people we support and their families feel confident and reassured. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as good, and we see that as a reflection of the work our team puts in every day. We do not take that rating for granted and we are always looking at how we can do things better. If you are thinking about whether Cambian Asperger Syndrome might be the right place for you or someone you care about, we would genuinely welcome the chance to have a conversation. Please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to answer any questions you might have.
