About Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home
Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home is in Banbury, Oxfordshire. We care for adults who need registered nursing alongside help with everyday life, including older people, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. We are a Christian home, and people of any faith or none are welcome here. What that means in practice is that faith is taken seriously as part of somebody's life rather than treated as an optional extra, and that people are supported to keep up whatever matters to them. Nursing cover at every hour is what allows us to support people whose needs are genuinely complex, covering medication, skin and pressure care, continence and nutrition, and the monitoring that catches a change while it is still small. Where somebody is nearing the end of their life, it means they can stay somewhere familiar with people who know them. Beyond the care they need, residents decide when they get up, what they eat, whether they join in and who visits. For people living with dementia we keep the day in a familiar order and the staff group as steady as we can. Respite and short stays are available. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring to arrange a visit.
