About Godswell Park
Godswell Park is a nursing home in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Having qualified nurses on duty means we can care for people whose health needs go beyond what a residential home can safely manage, and it usually means somebody can stay with us as their needs increase rather than facing another move. We care for older people who need nursing support, including many with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. Respite stays are available too, for people who need nursing care for a limited period or whose family carer needs a proper break. Clinically we concentrate on what makes the greatest difference: medication given correctly, skin integrity, nutrition and hydration, pain managed properly, safe moving and handling, and acting early when somebody's condition changes. Where physical disability is part of the picture we think hard about equipment, seating and positioning, because those details decide how comfortable and how independent a person can be. Around that, this is where people live. Residents keep their own rooms and their own belongings, choose when to get up and what to eat, and can have company or quiet as they prefer. Families are welcome at any reasonable hour. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We would still rather you came and formed your own view, so please arrange to visit.
