About Hallmark Chamberlain Court Luxury Care Home
Chamberlain Court is a nursing home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. We care for older people whose health needs go beyond residential care, for younger adults living with conditions that require qualified nursing, for people with physical disabilities and for people living with sight or hearing loss. Respite stays are available as well. Registered nurses are on duty here at all hours. Medication is managed closely, wound care, catheter care and conditions that vary from week to week are handled on site, and a change in a resident's health tends to be noticed early because the person noticing knows them well. We work with GPs, district nurses, therapists and hospital teams, and we press on a resident's behalf when something is slow in coming. Comfortable surroundings matter, but they are not what we would ask you to judge us on. What counts is whether somebody is treated as an individual: whether they choose when to get up, what they eat, where they sit and who they see, and whether the people helping them know them properly. Dementia care is a significant part of our work, and we treat it as caring for a person rather than managing a condition. Families hold most of the history that makes that possible, and we ask for it early. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Visitors are welcome at any reasonable hour. Ring us if you would like to look round.
