About Baroda Care
We are a nursing home in Eastleigh, Hampshire, caring for older people and for younger adults who need nursing support, including people living with mental health conditions. We also offer respite stays for people who need a period of nursing care without it being a permanent move. Having nurses on site means we can look after people whose health is complicated or changeable without them having to move again every time something shifts. That is one of the main reasons families come to us. But the nursing is the background to the day rather than the whole of it. What people notice is whether the staff are kind, whether anybody has time to sit down for a minute, whether their relative seems settled when they visit. Supporting people with mental health needs alongside older people takes thought, and we plan carefully so that everyone living here has what they need. We talk to families, to the person themselves and to the professionals already involved, and we keep talking as things develop rather than writing a plan once and filing it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking at nursing care in this part of Hampshire, we would encourage you to visit and see how the place feels. Please contact us and we will arrange it.
