About Rosewood Lodge
Rosewood Lodge provides care and support to people in their own homes in Bilston and the surrounding Wolverhampton area. Our work is about people living the life they want in their own place, with support arranged around them. We support adults with learning disabilities and autism, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. A good part of our work is with younger adults, and that shapes how we go about things. Somebody in their twenties or thirties is usually not looking to be looked after, but for enough practical support to get on with work, study, friendships and running a home. So we begin by asking what a person wants their week to look like and what gets in the way. Support might be personal care or medication, help with cooking, cleaning, budgeting or appointments, or going along to something new until somebody feels able to go alone. Where our involvement can shrink over time, we treat that as success. Communication is central here. Where somebody uses signs, symbols or their own particular way of making themselves understood, our staff learn it before the first visit, and no decision is made about a person without a real effort to include them. If you would like to discuss support for yourself or someone close to you, please contact us.
